Know The Examination
Joint Entrance Examination-
JEE(Mains)

The Joint Entrance Examination (Main), or JEE Main, is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). It is primarily held for admission to undergraduate engineering and architecture courses offered by premier institutions such as NITs (National Institutes of Technology), IIITs (Indian Institutes of Information Technology), and other centrally funded technical institutions (CFTIs). It also serves as the eligibility test for JEE Advanced, which is required for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs).

EXAMINATION SCHEME

Mode of Examination: The JEE (Main) - 2025 is being conducted in the following modes:
a) Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode.
b) Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on drawing sheet of A4 size.
c) Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.
Medium of Question Papers
Drawing from the National Education Policy (NEP), the JEE (Main) - 2025 will be conducted in thirteen languages i.e. English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu
Pattern of Examination

Multiple Choice Questions:
To answer a question, the candidates need to choose one option corresponding to the correct answer or the most appropriate answer. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:
1. Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
2. Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1)
3. Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0)
4. If more than one option is found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options
5. If all options are found to be correct then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question
Numerical Value Questions:
There will be negative marking for Section B. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:
1. Correct Answer: Four marks (+4)
2. Incorrect Answer: Minus one mark (-1)
3. Unanswered/Marked for Review: No mark (0).
4. If a question is found to be incorrect or the Question is dropped then Four marks (+4) will be awarded to all Candidates. The reason could be due to human error or technical error.
5. Candidates are advised to do the calculations with the constants given (if any) in the questions. The answer should be rounded off to the nearest integer.
Joint Entrance Examination-
JEE(Advanced)

JEE Advanced is a prestigious national-level engineering entrance examination that provides a pathway for science enthusiasts to secure admission to their desired engineering colleges.
This Computer-Based Exam is conducted in a rotation by the seven prestigious IITs, which include IIT Kharagpur, IIT Bombay, IIT Roorkee, IIT Madras, IIT Kanpur, IIT Delhi, and IIT Guwahati. These institutions collectively organize and oversee the examination. IIT Kanpur is the organizing body for JEE Advanced 2025. The exam is scheduled for 18th May (Sunday) 2025.
JEE Advanced Qualifying candidates have the opportunity to pursue Bachelor's degrees, Integrated Master's programs and Bachelor-Master dual degrees. The offered degrees include BS, B. Tech, B. Arch, B. Tech-M. Tech dual degree, 'BS & MS dual degree,' integrated M.Sc. and integrated M.Tech.
JEE Advanced Paper Pattern 2025
JEE Advanced 2025 will follow a similar pattern as previous years, consisting of two papers, each of three hours duration, covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The exam will be conducted in computer-based test (CBT) mode and will comprise multiple-choice questions (MCQs), numerical answer type (NAT) questions and matching-type questions.

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST
[NEET (UG)]

NATIONAL ELIGIBILITY CUM ENTRANCE TEST [ NEET (UG) – 2025 ] will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA), as a common and uniform National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test [(NEET (UG)] for admission to undergraduate medical education in all medical institutions.
Similarly, as per Section 14 of the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine Act, 2020, there shall be a uniform NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate courses in each of the disciplines i.e. BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS courses of the Indian System of Medicine in all Medical Institutions governed under this Act. NEET (UG) shall also be applicable to admission to BHMS course as per National Commission for Homeopathy Act, 2020.
The languages in which the NEET (UG) 2025 would be conducted are: English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. MNS (Military Nursing Service) aspirants seeking admission to BSc Nursing Course being conducted at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for the year 2025 are required to qualify NEET. The NEET score will be used for shortlisting for selection to the four-year BSc Nursing course.
